Implement the Mobility Hub project to resolve how individuals can seamlessly get to work from rail stations now rather than wait another two years. Mobility Hubs integrate bike sharing, car sharing, high capacity bike parking and a folding bike/transit pass program at all rail stations and outlying employment, school and other destinations. It's a hub and spoke initiative. And you don't have to use public transit to utilize the Mobility Hub. For those that drive to Downtown, a Mobility Hub serves as a linkage so individuals can "park once" and still get around without using their car. The Mobility Hub intiative has been funded since October 2010 with $5.4 million in contribution from the private sector. Why wait until the middle of 2013? The funds are earmarked.
