Often I am waiting for the bus for 20 minutes and then 3 will come all at the same time. It would have been much more useful if they had come one bus come every 5 minutes instead of 3 every 20. Drivers should have a protocol for when they know they are close to another bus: the first one speeds ahead and doesn't stop except to discharge; the second one hangs back. Something like that.

It would also help if there were a central operator who could instruct drivers, in case they can't see the other bus so don't know they are getting close to bunching up.
