I travel on the Purple line every day and I see so many people getting on and off at Western/Wilshire (the final stop) then taking buses which end up clogging the streets.

If there was a rail line that went all the way from downtown to LA (via wilshire) it would solve many congestion problems that clog all of West LA.

The green line that will eventually end up in Culver/Santa Monica is a good start, but this doesn't help the thousands of people living more north that would take the rail instead of using their cars.
