How about building PRT systems in our city? They are 1/3rd the cost, on-call system (no waiting on a bus), computer operated, small footprint, installed in 1/2 the time, less noise, easily adaptable (at grade, above grade, wheels or maglev).

Imagine having an On-Call system fueled by Solar Energy and getting people more mobile! We could have 60 miles of track installed in 2 yrs! :) Much better and efficient than underground subways.
