Get rid of fare boxes on the city buses. Bus drivers should drive the bus, not police the riders or collect fares. If riders can board the bus at the front and back at every stop, the bus will spend less time at each stop and stay on schedule.

People will need to purchase bus fares at fare boxes either at stops or on the buses themselves. Fare collectors will then board buses and check for valid fare stubs and issue fines for violators.
