The westside needs a direct route from Barrington to Veteran similar to that of downtown's Second Street tunnel. It can take 30 minutes to go 2.5 miles. A direct bypass route would benefit public transportation as well as residents not looking to get onto the 405 freeway. I would love a tunnel or overpass to bypass the 405 but that is not financially responsible so maybe a dedicated lane with orange dividers that will not allow you to change lanes. They also never should have implemented left hand only turn lanes on Wilshire at the intersection of Sepulveda because cars merging back only slows down traffic.

I would also consider eminent domain on a small sliver of VA land to make Ohio wider to allow more lanes of traffic.

Lastly the VA should NEVER be closed.
