Any street in downtown LA could be considered a major commercial hub, but I think 7th is more central than most. It's also a horrible street to ride a bicycle on, yet many of us do, en route to the 7th st bike lane west of Figueroa. And it's the last place I'd want to see a trolley car line installed!
