The cities of Santa Monica, Los Angeles, and Malibu, plus the county and state parks, and (most importantly) Caltrans should hang their heads in collective shame over PCH.

This is an official (by state legislative act) bike route and an official (by state legislative act) coastal hiking trail. There are virtually no pedestrian accomodations, and no bike accomodations, at all, The City of LA portion is the worst! The city and state have right of way in the area of the Bel Air Beach Club for road widening but have done nothing.

It is time to reclaim part of this oceanfront resource for people.
