Improve street traffic along the corridor, especially when approaching Washington Blvd. There should be protected/permissive left turn signals on San Pedro approaching Washington as pockets are at full capacity during peak hours, as well as adding more signal time for the intersection with synchronization because traffic is clogged from 16th St on the SB side (can sometimes spread out further) and from 21st St on the NB side.

Between Olympic and 16th St, the signals should be synchronized to improve the slow traffic flow during the evening rush hour.

On the northbound side approaching 16th St, there should be a protected/permissive signal there because the left turn pocket is at full capacity during the afternoon/evening rush hour.

Getting off the westbound 10 freeway at San Pedro & 16th can get very ugly as the left turn pocket causes a major backup on the off-ramp and sometimes in towards the freeway. This is mainly due to an island sitting on the street with no purpose, which can be easily removed to add a second left turn pocket to get cars moving faster. The signal at that particular location should also be synced in conjunction with the San Pedro/Washington signal upgrades mentioned above to maximize flow and efficiency while exiting and heading out.

Add left turn pockets on 21st (and remove the left turn restriction on SB side), 23rd, 30th Streets, and Adams Blvd (with the removal of peak hour left turn restrictions) to improve traffic flow.

Have the street lane striping between Adams and Jefferson repainted because they are fading.
