What streets do you use for your longer trips (more than 5 miles)?

Wilshire and Santa Monica are heavily commuted but also heavily signaled. I use Olympic (even if it means going south to then go back up north) for it has sections that act like freeways. Allowing for minimal signalization, provides for better east-west access, of course we need signals for north-south but we don't need every two streets on Santa Monica to be signaled. Santa Monica was supposed to be a freeway anyway. Let's remove some signals on Wilshire and allow it to be another east-west clear path. |
